F.80 Mass Reversal Using Doc. Header Text

Is it possible to reverse multiple SAP documents by searching off of Doc. Header Text in transaction code: F.80(Mass Reversal)?

Basically, it’s not there in the SAP system we are now using. So is there any SAP OSS note or configuration step to get this field in the SAP system?

The answer is yes, it’s possible to reverse the multiple SAP documents, but not by searching, you have to give the single rage or multiple ranges of the SAP documents which you want to reverse.

First of all you should know which SAP document you have to be reversed rather than SAP system tells you

SAP OSS Note 1317932 is useful for this case. You need to apply this SAP note. Otherwise there is no field in dynamic selection with header text in transaction F.80 screen. YOu should talk to your ABAPer if any thing the screen can be enhanced to accommodate Header Text.

Anyway, this is also not recommended to reverse the multiple documents by Header Text, because header text field is freely input text fields and also can be changed even after the SAP document has been posted. So when ever you need to reverse multiple SAP documents it is better to give SAP documents numbers only, but you can also use general selections also

The alternative way may be you can select and download the SAP documents with the header text from the SAP table BKPF and field BKTXT – Header Text. Afterthat use the filtered SAP documents for reversing (excel).
