My SAP local currency is in THB. I have maintained foreign currency exchange rate like USD to THB, SGD to THB.

First question is do I need to maintain the exchange rate in the other way round (like THB to USD)?

Secondly, if my vendor bill me is foreign currency USD, and I pay in foreign curr SGD, do I need to maintain the exchange rate from SGD to USD in SAP?

The Answer depends on your settings for the Exchange rate type.

SAP IMG PATH: SPRO > General Settings > Currencies > Check exchange rate types

Ans1: No if Invert flag is set for the exchange rate type.
Yes if flag is not set.

Ans2: No if you have specified GBP as the Ref.crcy.
Yes if no Ref.Crcy is specified.
